His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born in the north to a Scribe, Roland learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Roland was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Scribe. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
