History: He got into the Brewer business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Scribe, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Scribe. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in the east to a Layabout, John learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Motivation: To be a Barrister again; and he's repulsed by the pc

He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ploughman for hire.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
