Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Aldous's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Herbalist who has hired him part-time. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He's in love.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Human compassion; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Born in the north to a Layabout, Miles learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He has worked as a Layabout like his father before him.
