History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has worked as a Mayor like his father before him.

The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Gilbert was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
