History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bertram was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Actor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Actor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
