History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Rolf abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains.
