When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: Born in the east to a Layabout, Gunter learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Mayor, but he got bored and became a Layabout. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born to a Courier, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
