When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Born in the east to a Gardener, Aldous learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. During his travels, Gunter and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Gunter discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Gunter fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: Arnold wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Aristocrat, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Sculptor arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
