Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Spice Merchant. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: Heward lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He tends to his Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
