History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving William alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He has a large tan mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his blue robe. His tied-back hair is black. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Jocelyn will drive conversation. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Jocelyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many brigands want him driven away

Description: He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Sage. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Dustin liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he's in love

Description: An older man who likes to wear pastel tank tops with grey pants, he is not a threatening figure. His auburn hair is cut short. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nicholas was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
