Bernard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears silk and lounges about seductively. His black hair and beard is wavy and long. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: Gomory is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Gomory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gomory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
