Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Diggory's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born into a rich family. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Diggory's homeland. Diggory decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Born in the west to a Server, Bernard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Adelard was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and doesn't want to be a courier and was forced into it by his family

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
