He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the south to a Mason, Balimaar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mason work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mason work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Recently the stress of being a Mason has made it difficult for him to sleep.

History: Born to a Shepherd, his father struggled to pay the bills. His childhood dream was to be a Shepherd, but he was a colossal failure. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.
