History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and he desires power and/or immortality

He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Hubert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bricklayer work with an outfit from a few towns over.
