Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and sabotage a competitor

He conceals his mace with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Bertram has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to unite with his brother

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Patrick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
