He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He struck the Spice Merchant job and began his own company from there.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
