History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Doctor. He has achieved small success as a Doctor.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. A freak accident while working with his Baker father left him crippled. He now mingles about in high society.
