History: Born to a Scribe, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Bertram abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Junk Dealer for the past few years.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and retire the richest man in the south
