History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Frederick's homeland. Frederick decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. After a long history of fighting, Everard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and many gnolls want him driven away

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.
