Description: This tall, slender man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has a very tight haircut. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Roland took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up axe and armor he uses now. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He tends to his Beggar job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
