History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Hubert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hubert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Knight. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miller. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Knight responsibilities is difficult.

History: The child of a Sailor, who enjoyed hunting, Rolf was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.

History: The child of a Fletcher, who enjoyed hunting, Reynard was taken on many hunting expeditions. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Reynard has worked very hard to control his curse. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
