Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shane does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miner. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
