History: He was born in a small plains village. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and human compassion

History: Gilbert was born the youngest of three triplets. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: He wears a tan tunic with brown highlights, and long green pants that bunch up around his shoes. His auburn hair is cut short. This violet eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Richard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure.
