History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Born in the north to a Body Guard, Theobald learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Body Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has worked as a Body Guard like his mother before him.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Wymar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Wymar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

History: Conrad was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. A true patriot, Alexandre would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Alexandre reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alexandre fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
