History: Roland was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born to a Carpenter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He got into the Map Maker business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and balancing his hectic life and new map maker responsibilities is difficult
