History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Miles's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Miles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Miles was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Interpreter. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Ernest was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
