History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Stableman, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He's also a talented Blacksmith, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a blacksmith again

He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

Motivation: Human compassion; and he is greedy
