History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by illithids. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Richard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He got into the Fisher business at a young age. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fisher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and to be a bounty hunter again

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jocelyn embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a Crown-heir, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was taken from his home at a very young age. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and retire the richest man in the west
