History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Godfrey never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
