History: Gifted from a young age, Arnold studied abroad. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a tan collared shirt and black pants. He accessorizes with a brown scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His black hair is thinning but still full. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to be a guard again

History: Born in the west to a Brewer, Adelard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Brewer for hire.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a brown tunic with green highlights, and long black pants that bunch up around his shoes. His hair is long and brown with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. He is baby faced.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Mercenary but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the north to a Mercenary, Roland learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has worked as a Mercenary like his mother before him.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.
