History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

History: He was born in the north. He found a children's book about a Human Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.
