Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Mason arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away.
