History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Charles grew up listening to his father's many stories. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a Masseuse soon after.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: Bernard speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and many drow want him driven away
