When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spice Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Body Guard, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
