Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. One day when Nicholas was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Nicholas was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

With bright black hair and a scraggly beard. His blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is a great chef.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jocelyn grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'5" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. His hair is long and red with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away.

Description: He is a husky man, who typically wears tan cloth garments or leather armor. He keeps his auburn hair in a flapper bob. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: This man loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he's looking for his big break

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
