History: Born in the north to a Glassblower, John learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, John never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Glassblower and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

His golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He is a Lamia in disguise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is greedy

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Chad grew up listening to his father's many stories. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born in a small island village. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
