History: Norman was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. His addictions have taken their toll on his wallet, and he has found himself with a great deal of debt owed.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and balancing his hectic life and new interpreter responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Barrister. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Cory lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. After a long history of fighting, Cory and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Gunter and his spouse have recently divorced.
