Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He is a Lamia in disguise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
