Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Mason arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he wants revenge against dire rats

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
