History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his youth he was a Mayor, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Shane was born with his father's beautiful face. He found a children's book about a Human Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has worked as a Knight like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Knight responsibilities is difficult; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He bought a rapier and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Human compassion; and he's in love

History: Dustin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He struck the Scribe job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult
