History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Theobald wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Theobald was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere.
