History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His first spouse was a Ruler, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Scribe, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Kody was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He worked as a nervous Ruler and found it very stressful. He struck the Ruler job and began his own company from there.

Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
