Personality: Trym speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he is wracked by social anxiety

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Gerard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
