He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Balimaar's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Alexandre lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Hugh was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Hugh's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Norman was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Norman's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Norman and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he seems to be bored by most things
