Lance Perry, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people.
Ideals: Joker. Flaws: Ugly, Mundane, Disease, Racist. Occupation: Mayor

John Kenley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. He has styled his red hair well, parting it to the right. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

Lewis Oakley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears a white costume with the symbols of luck on his torso. He keeps his long blonde hair kept up in a rat tail. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: Lewis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and to unite with his brother
Flaws: Insomniac, Shy, Selfish. Bonds: Attractive, Family. Occupation: Fortune-teller
Voice: Speaks through clenched teeth

Adam Wheatley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He is baby faced.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Gifted from a young age, Adam studied abroad. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Adam took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up axe and armor he uses now. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.
Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and to find somewhere to settle down
Ideals: Logical, Gifted. Flaws: Mundane, Fearful. Bonds: Attractive, Nature. Occupation: Painter

Balimaar Hayden, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This dark-skinned male has the majority of his body covered in plate. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He has done his best to style his brown hair to look like a famous performer. He has several tiny amethyst earrings on each ear.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Balimaar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: He is greedy; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
Ideals: Justice. Flaws: Disease, Ugly. Bonds: Rich. Occupation: Miller
Voice: Scottish accent
