History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: The child of a Shoemaker, who enjoyed hunting, Gerard was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
