History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Hubert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hubert was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Through the years after Bernard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Bernard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.
