History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. After a long history of fighting, Adelard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To be a Sage again; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. John took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up spear and armor he uses now. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
