Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: John was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
