History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting goblins, the young Patrick began to lead the lost caravan. History: Born in the west to a Guard, Simon learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Guard and found it very stressful. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
